Is Superman gay? Or is he Jesus? It's been fun watching people online pontificate on both scenarios. (We don't remember Jesus wearing a cape — or tights, for that matter. And does being buff, sensitive and impeccably groomed make Superman gay?) Regardless of what he is, people will be packing theaters to check him out in Superman Returns. Today, Alamo Drafthouse and Midnight Comics & Games are teaming up to give fans a real comic-book-themed moviegoing experience. Show up at either Drafthouse location for the movie, and you'll receive free Superman comics and copies of the Daily Planet (the rag Clark Kent works for). So is Lois just a beard? Discuss from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. 1000 West Oaks Mall (Westheimer at Highway 6) and 531 South Mason Road in Katy.
Wed., June 28, 6-10 p.m.; Fri., June 30, 6-10 p.m.
